Last month we announced our first wine giveaway of 12 bottles of Piedmont wine packaged in the Lazenne Wine Check. 

We partnered with a group of producers from the Piedmont wine region and wine blog Please Bring Me My Wine to help you stock your cellar and give you a wine travel tool. Now that we are in the last week of the giveaway we wanted to make sure everyone has entered.

Part of our work at Lazenne includes educating people on how to travel with wine. Back when we first started the company we looked at rules and regulations for international wine travel. The piece breaks down tariffs, taxes, and policies from all over the world to show winelovers they can get bottles home safely and cost effectively. Now that we’ve been doing this for a while we want to take it a little closer to home but by talking about how to travel with alcohol within Europe on low cost airlines.

Like I said, do come and visit. Our landscapes will capture you and once you have started to immerse yourselves into Brunello's complexity and variations from winery to winery you will begin to understand why I moved here back in 2012.

Apart from world famous Brunello there are Rosso di Montalcino, Moscadello di Montalcino (the wine that made Montalcino famous in the middle ages) and other wines all of the high Montalcino quality. Of course, should the outstanding wines not be enough incentive there are always our sunsets and moon-rises. It does not get better than that!
